What we do

We research operators that hold a current remote casino licence from the Gambling Commission, check the details on the public register, and put what we find next to each other in one place. That includes the legal entity behind a brand, its licence status, and an honest editorial read of how the site itself behaves — from account setup through to the range of games on offer.

Every operator we cover is scored using the same documented approach, described in full on our how we rate page, so the reasoning behind a ranking is never a mystery.

What we don't do

Chipway House does not accept bets, hold player funds, run any casino game, or operate under a gambling licence of its own — because we don't need one. We're a media publisher. Nothing on this site constitutes gambling activity, and no page here processes a deposit, a wager or a withdrawal.

We're also not the Gambling Commission, GAMSTOP, GamCare or GambleAware, and nothing on this site should be read as coming from those organisations. We link to all four because they're the right people to speak to about licensing and safer gambling — we simply point the way.

How the site is funded

Some of the links on Chipway House are commercial. If you open an account with an operator after following one of our links, that operator may pay us a referral fee. This is standard practice for comparison publishers and is explained in detail in our affiliate disclosure. It never buys a better position in our ranking.

Who this site is for

Chipway House is written for adults in Great Britain who are already choosing to gamble and want a clearer starting point than an operator's own advertising. It is not aimed at, and should never be read by, anyone under 18.
