The relationship, in plain terms
Chipway House is funded, in part, through affiliate marketing. When you click through to an operator from one of our comparison links and go on to open an account, that operator may pay us a referral commission. This is how most independent comparison sites in this industry are funded, and it's how we keep this site free to read.
What this doesn't mean
A commission arrangement doesn't make an operator our client, and it doesn't buy a higher position on our list. We separate our commercial relationships from our editorial judgement: an operator that pays us nothing at all would be scored and ranked exactly the same way as one that does, based on the same public licensing checks and the same review process described on our how we rate page.
Where you'll see commercial links
Buttons and links that lead to an operator's own website — such as "Visit Ladbrokes" in our ranking — are commercial links, marked with rel="sponsored" in the underlying page code so search engines and browsers can identify them as such. We disclose this again directly above the ranking on our homepage, rather than only in this policy.
What happens once you click through
Following a link takes you to the operator's own, separately operated website. Any account you open, any deposit you make and any game you play happens entirely under that operator's own terms and conditions — Chipway House is not a party to that transaction in any way.
Our commitment
We only link to operators that we've checked against the Gambling Commission's public register at the time of publication. If an operator's authorisation lapses, or if we lose confidence in an operator for any other reason, we remove it — regardless of any commercial arrangement in place.
